About Us

Proud to provide rugby for the communities of Guildford, Godalming and the surrounding area. The Club's facilities are second to none in Surrey. The Club's unique position in the County means that its pitches are being used on a regular basis for club games, for Youth coaching sessions and County matches.

We're a friendly club established in 2002 following the merger of the towns 2 clubs at the time, Guildford & Godalming RFC and Old Guildfordians RFC. Although Guildford RFC may be seen as relatively young, the club brings with it the history of 2 fine clubs.

 As you can see we cater for competitive rugby at all levels from Minis rugby through to Veterans rugby with 'The Shires', including youth and senior ladies.

However, if social rugby is more your scene we provide that too with friendlies for all teams throughout the season and a social side in the form of the 4thXV, better known as 'The Stallions'.

Club House Facilities

Club facilities are available for hire at competitive rates for all types of functions. Contact Kaz Hatcher for details. (Bar functions and parties are not available for 21's and under. )

We have 5 rugby pitches during the playing season and during the summer season the grounds are available for hire supported by the changing room facilities. Combine this with the hire of the club house and we have a very flexible facility capable of catering to your needs.

Use of a pitch in daylight for a match or a session is £60+VAT.  If showers are included in daylight £80+VAT.  Use of a pitch + floodlight, but no showers £75+VAT, pitch + floodlight and showers £95+VAT.  Use of equipment and physio facilities is additional on request.  These are non negotiable unless agreed Director of Sports or an executive commitee member.  The use also requires a signed agreement for standard of behaviour in using the facilities and agreement to pay.
